Dark Pearl VS for Windows 7

Version 1.1

Changes from 1.0:

- Fixed notification area backgrounds
- Fixed taskbar jumplist background

Tested on Windows 7 x86 only, but works on x64 as well (withous the content of "System files" folder). System files for x86 pre-SP1!

In order to use custom themes you have to patch your system files.
To do that, download and install Universal Theme Patcher from this link:

Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.

To install the visual style:

Place the content of the "Theme" folder in C:WindowsResourcesThemes

Double-click on Dark Pearl VS.theme to apply the style.

I've included several system files, which you can, but you don't need to change (x86 pre-SP1 only!):

explorer.exe - for the start button
explorerframe.dll - for the Back-Forward buttons in Windows Explorer

Best fucking theme out here, I only dislike 1 thing: the font.. unforntanly this is kind off a deal breaker.. is there a way
to change this? can i open one off the files with notepad++ an just edit all the font lines?

Thank you very much! The font... I believe you can do this from Personalization options in context menu, there are options to customize fonts somewhere. I am sorry, I don't remember the exact place, I don't use Windows any more.

do you have one with the regular aero glass look but the same black and dark grey inside open window boxes,..... does that make sens, i love this, i really want one with the plain aero glass so i can see the borders easier

Not really. The borders on 2.0 are even less visible, sorry...

I don't work on new Windows themes since I switched to Linux.

Please help me, my taskbar won´t load. I´v installed Rainmeter and that is running but when i click the theme "thing" that i downloaded from here nothing happens, it looks like it´s trying but then it seems like nothing is happening
